Today, I want to give you ten self-care tips that I hope you’ll find helpful. So, before you begin day one, make sure you read below.

Okay, so here are my ten self-care tips and tricks:
Do what feels best for you
Throughout this journey, there are many new activities for you to try. And, it’s great to challenge yourself.
However, always do what makes sense and feels best for you.
The self-care challenge is a personal journey. It’s important to know what works for you may be different from others – and vice versa.
You should enjoy and feel optimistic about your self-care routine.
Always make time for yourself
We all know how busy life can be. And, it’s easy to convince ourselves that we don’t have time. But, the truth is, we can always make time for ourselves.
The self-care activities in this challenge are small enough not to interfere with your busy schedule yet practical enough to positively impact your mood and energy levels and help you develop new healthy habits.
Be part of a support network
Having a support network will keep you accountable. It’s easy to fall off the bandwagon when you don’t have anyone to hold you accountable.
They can also provide you with some much-needed encouragement on those down days.
You can find support from your friends, family, or even work colleagues.
It’s also an excellent idea to connect with other individuals who are also participating in this challenge.

Try new self-care activities with an open mind
Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself by embracing new activities and ideas throughout this journey.
If you do something with a negative mindset, you’ll most likely end up with a negative experience. So try to have an open mind when doing new activities, even if it’s something you wouldn’t usually do.
Once you’ve finished the activity, you can reflect and decide if it’s something you want to explore. You’ll be surprised what new habits you’ll soon enjoy.
Find the balance
As I mentioned earlier, we’re all different. Our lifestyles, responsibilities, and schedules will all differ. And we all respond in different ways.
That’s why it’s good to track your progress.
Maybe you enjoy walking. Don’t be afraid to walk more often.
Or maybe reading is where you struggle. Try committing to just 5 minutes instead of 15 minutes.
Eventually, you’ll find your balance. Something you can commit to without it feeling like a chore.
Be kind to yourself
It’s important not to be too hard on yourself. Don’t stress. That’s the opposite of what we’re trying to achieve from this challenge.
Life is never straightforward. And, every day will not be perfect. Understanding and accepting this is crucial.
So be kind to yourself, and remember that tomorrow is a new day and a new opportunity to progress.
Be your self-care expert
Even though I’m a qualified life & wellness coach, you will always be the best expert of you.
So, listen to your body, reflect on your progress & setbacks, and then adjust accordingly.

Set goals and keep track of your progress
As part of your daily self-care rituals, you’ll need to set achievable goals.
It’s essential to do this and track your progress every day.
Setting goals will help you keep sight of what’s necessary, and it’s will give you a sense of accomplishment at the end of every day.
Don’t give up
Things will be challenging at times. And, some days, you may not be in the mood to continue.
These are the days you need to take advantage of your support network. And, you can always reach out to me through the self-care community group.
Remember why you started. And think of where you want to be.
